I was bumping around Match.com today and happened upon a profile of a young lady I couldn’t help but view. Yeah, she was cute. But the reason is because she started off her profile with this: “I need someone who has goals in his life and not just a slacker and living off mom and dad. I’m totally motivated and wanting to succeed in life.” Before you bust out your Girl Power horse shit, it’s worth noting if you bump down to read more about her, you’ll see she lives at home with mom and dad. Nice. So, to review: slacker boys? Bad! Hypocritical girls? Good! Whatever, dude. ETA (You Indy folks will be the only ones who get this) She says no to Broad Ripple because it’s too loud and not “intimate,” which she prefers. So what does she list? Scottie’s and The Red Ox. Wow! Talk about a moron! Tag: match.com

I Wonder Why… |

I don’t quite understand…..
Almost everyone I know talks about hoping to find someone who loves them unconditionally…..
So, if almost everyone wants it shouldn’t it be a piece of cake to find love …..
Doesn’t seem to be the case though….as almost everyone I know seems to in reality only have memories of a long lost love……..or they seem to be stuck in a loveless relationship………
The more I ponder the only rational answer I can come up with is that since there are like 6 billion people in this world …the permutations and combinations in the process of trying to find the perfect match are way too high ….so it takes forever to get thru the entire human race before you meet that one right person……..kinda like looking for a needle in a haystack………..
Thank god for being gay …I have to only go thru 10% of the population……just imagine having to go through 90% of the population looking for that one right person !!!!!
Now that I have wisely concluded that it is permutations and combinations that makes it harder to find your mate ………and that it has nothing to do with the fact that people only want to receive and not give back in return which therefore leads to a lot of expectations and therefore disappointment !!……….let me try to go back to the wonderful world of dating …………..and find that perfect mate………..
