My Top 3

It was nice to go do my volunteer work today. Rock Creek Farm is the area where I work in Broomfield. It’s a farm/ranch, plus the birds or there too. I had a new volunteer to take around and to help me today. She will be starting there next week. She did really well and even picked up the dead animals too. Hired…..well, sort of! It is pretty quiet out there this time of year. We have 5 birds in one area where a few months ago there were 40. I introduced the new woman to Chuck the Turkey Vulture. I just love him! He comes when you call him, even when you can’t see him. He really does think he is a human. Total imprint. I played with a ball with him and he followed me and this new girl around where ever we went. He is so cute. Turkey vultures throw up when they get nervous. Let me tell you, you don’t want to be around when they do that. It’s so nasty. Hence, his name “Chuck”. Such and ugly bird with the best personality. I never knew how smart Turkey Vultures were. He is a smart one.

Today I had a meeting at my house with a photography client. I did a shoot for this girl last week. She is graduating soon at the age of 20. She went back to high school after quite some time away and everyone is so proud that she is doing this herself, while working too. Good for her! A very nice girl too. They were so happy to have the photos. They loved almost everyone of them. It will be hard for them to pick one for her graduation announcement.

I’m being such a home body lately. I love being here. I feel so comfortable and really do enjoy just chillin out here. It will be snowing starting tonight, which is fine with me. Rain, snow whatever! We need the moisture so bad here. I love to eat and I love to drink and play in water, so bring it!

I got a letter back from the guy on Match.com It was a very nice letter too. I give the guy lots of credit for what he said and expressed. I totally love when men can actually communicate these things to me in such a nice way too. I’ll see what happens. He does seem pretty cool. Not many guys I know would try like he did, and he diesn’t even know me……..yet.

Juan asked me to go to a basketball game his daughter is playing in, but it’s in Westcliffe and that would be quite the drive for a game, plus I was totally busy with birds and photo clients. Hey Juan, I have Thursday, Friday and Saturday night off. FYI

I need to clean my shit kickin boots. I know …….too much information huh? I haven’t cleaned these for way too long, and it certainly looks like it. Not sure if I will get to it tonight, but I have my feet propped up on my coffee table and I can see them over the top of my laptop. Yuck!

I see what I can stir up tonight. Oh, in my Cheater’s Guide to Frankie blog, I wrote about Todd H. I used his last name and then sure enough my tags made my blog pop right up when I checked on google. I had to take off his last name. Damn it! That guy sucked and I would love to write about what a dirt bag he was.
